Terms & Conditions Revised to Reflect the Onset of Covid-19:
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
Clients can pay by American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and personal check. A $250 per person deposit is required once reservations agreed to. Total payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Checks should be made payable and mailed to: Lindenmeyr Travel Ltd., 19 East 37 Street, Suite 4R, New York, NY 10016.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
RE: Covid-19 – Land packages canceled due to the virus will be refundable based on suppliers’ refund policies less a $ 200.00/adult and $ 100.00/child fee. These fees are applicable to future travel booked within two years of the canceled original travel date. Cancellations of air reservations are dependent on the policy are the particular airline.
Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to departure: all monies refunded less $175/person. Within 30 to 60 days of departure, the refund is less $250/person. Cancellations received within 30 days of departure are $375/person plus any non-recoverable costs from airlines, hotels and any other service suppliers. Please note in recent years some hotels have extended their cancellation penalty periods to more than 30 days out. There are no refunds for unused portions of a land package. Refunds for unused or canceled airline tickets will comply with the particular airline’s policy.
EXCEPTIONAL ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Once LTL receives payment for a confirmed reservation, any booking changes thereafter incur a $50/change charge above the cost of the trip. For reservations made within 6 weeks of departure, there is a $50 late booking charge to cover necessary extra charges. For those purchasing a ‘land only’ package, there is a $100/adult and $50/child service fee.
Land arrangements and other services included in this website are not at net prices. All prices include costs of research, development, planning, and product knowledge; brochure and web site design; marketing and communication; administration and operations; and travel agent commissions. LTL reserves the right to increase tour prices to reflect any increased costs, tariffs, taxes, and fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
The exertive nature of skiing and other active sports are be avoided by unconditioned travelers of all ages, those with impaired physical conditions and/or health problems. LTL, our agents and all other suppliers are not responsible if the traveler incurs an injury while participating in an activity and/or is unable to fully participate in activities due to limitations of health, age or physical abilities. All travelers engaged in strenuous physical activities do so at their own risk and relinquish any and all rights whatsoever to make claims for any damages due to injuries sustained during such activities.
Lindenmeyr Travel Ltd., 19 E. 37 St., New York, NY 10016 USA acts only as an agent for transportation companies in all matters relating to transportation whether by plane, motorcoach, rail, car, or any other means; and also as an agent for travel service companies and suppliers in all matters relating to arrangements for tour components such as hotel accommodations, sports participation, sightseeing, entertainment, tour guides, local reservations, and other tour features. LTL, because of its tour operator status maintains no control over personnel, equipment or operations of these travel service suppliers, can assume no responsibility and cannot be held liable for lack of snow, non-operation of ski lifts, personal injury, property damage/loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or any other irregularity from whatever cause during trip. LTL recommends clients purchase trip cancellation, accident and baggage insurance. LTL reserves the right to change tour itineraries and any tour components whenever deemed necessary. Rates based on those in effect at the time of publication and subject to change.
